Five Day Action Plan comments:
- Your plan was VERY brief so I will comment or provide insight the best that I can>
- At first glance, they look like five separate lesson plans. How will you tie each lesson together? BE sure that each lesson builds upon the last.
- What technology will you use? IDEAS: I recently found an FREE podcast that is five minutes long about the Everglades. Look for it on ITUNES! What about using Google Earth to zoom into major cities on Day 2?
- How will the students learn about the historical people? What about the dinner party project in chapter 5? IDEA: Students could research one person, make notes on the computer/alpha smart, and share them with a small group..then enjoy some snacks like pretzels, apple slices etc. This could be a LUNCH Party!
- Tourism...as part of the lesson...using maps from various theme parks would be an exciting and educational activity.
Assessment- Pre - post? Portfolio? A Florida Class Book could work. What have you thought of?
